Thank you for your interest in the 2nd Annual Pet Rodeo and Snooty Walk. The Class of 2009 at West Seattle High School has been hard at work all year to bring this event to you on April 19th, 2008!
You may be asking yourself, what is a “Snooty Walk?” The event is called the Pet Rodeo and Snooty Walk because pets participate in events such as drooliest and best dancer. Local pet owners enter their pets into such categories. The Grand Finale is called the Snooty Walk and that is where pets from around West Seattle come and strut their stuff. With the owners, they participate in a walk where local celebrities judge pets based on criteria including, poise, cuteness, and overall snootiness. Top Pets win Trophies, Gifts, and of course, bragging rights at the local dog park for the year.
This event was created after the class of 2009 got tired of doing car washes and selling T-Shirts. We decided to go all out and create an event that not only brings the community together, but also provides a day of fun for the young-ones and the young-at-heart.
